2019 Leadership Awards
Each year the John Maxwell Team looks to discover standout leaders making an impact in the lives of others on a transformational scale. This year John Maxwell and his team once again identified an amazing group of leaders who are making a difference.
According to John, “A Transformational Leader is someone who influence people to think, to speak and to act in such a way that it makes a positive impact in their lives AND the lives of others.”

Selected as this year’s recipient of the TRANSFORMATIOnAL LEADERSHIP Award is Mr. Casey Crawford.
Casey has been a high impact leader touching the lives of thousands. He is the co-founder and CEO of Movement Mortgage, the nation’s fastest-growing mortgage lender, and the creator of Movement Foundation. His mission has been to love and value people by leading a movement of change in the financial industry, in corporate cultures, and in communities across America. The result of his work has helped transform how people think of financial services and is inspiring others in the impact they can make.

Each year my team and I look to recognize a leader who stands out and is making a difference above and beyond, and identifying that leader starts with you! Last year we received thousands of nominations of over the course of this spring and summer and narrowed it down to just a handful. In August 2018 we honored the four finalists who were able to join me at the International Maxwell Training event. They included Mr. Casey Crawford, Ms. Tracy Schmitt, Mr. Alex Villa, and Mr. Jason Benham. These four candidates are all making a huge impact in the lives of others. Joining me on stage to help introduce this year’s candidates was also Mr. Mark Cole, Mr. Mike Harbor and also last year’s winner, Ms. Bonnie St. John. As I often share, a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. And these Final Four candidates have modeled that for all of us.
